Time travel to the future

Think about the future is hard to me because, as the teacher, i have some troubles with anxiety, but something i really want to know about the future is if we achieve to be more aware about nature and enviroment care. So i would like to visit China in 20 years from now.

Why China?

China is one of the most polluting countries in the world with Rusia, USA and India . If this countries do not change the way they produce or do not take action about the impact they have in the planet, all of the actions of the rest of the countries would not be enough.

Why 20 years?

At this moment we are against time. The lastest IPCC report was very clear about how fast we have to do a lot of changes, so the next 15/20 years will be very important to define our future

Thinking about this makes me feel nervous, but i keep all my hope, because there are a lot of people (including me) who is fighting for this. And we can see now a lot of signs we´ve never seen before, for example the acussation against Sebastian Piñera about his participation on the Pandora Papers. A lot of people think this acussation is just an economic or etic issue, but we are talking about an enviromental problem, where money was more important than nature preservation. This is not the first case in Chile, but is the first time i see a diputado talking for 14 hours to make sure his partner was able to vote. They nailed it because the acussation approved.

If i could make this travel to the future i really hope to see a lot of changes. I wish there are new people in the goverment of China, people who think about our lifes and the impact which they have in the world, people who understand we are not the owners of everything.

I wish they change the way they produce to a more sustainable and ecologycal way and countries who import products from China (all of the countries i think xd) start to cut deals if they do not respect the enviroment in their process.

I have a lot of hope about our generations and the power that we have, so i really think in a better future for us.

I want to take advantage of this blog and invite you to this fight, maybe with little actions in your house or in your social media, but do something. We are in the last round to change our society and built a healthy future for all the species.
